Responsibility for training professional drivers Train and guide drivers on operating heavy-duty motor vehicles coupled with trailers (Juliette) or semi-trailers (Carreta), transporting cargo within national territory or along pre-established routes defined by the company’s service schedule, in compliance with the Brazilian National Traffic Code. Detailed Description * Guide drivers on verifying transportation fiscal documents before commencing a trip. * Guide drivers on recording any abnormalities in vehicle operation and repair needs, reporting any irregularities observed in transported goods. * Guide drivers on maintaining speeds appropriate to road conditions and locations, aiming to prevent damage and delays in task completion. * Guide drivers on inspecting vehicle maintenance status prior to use (“check list”), including documentation, electrical systems, tires, fuel level, vehicle structural integrity, oil level, etc., and reporting required repairs to the maintenance department. * Guide drivers on ensuring engine lubricating oils and coolant remain within operational levels, using manual methods and observing indicator levels, to ensure full vehicle functionality as specified by the manufacturer. * Guide drivers on refueling at external gas stations as needed and per instructions from the responsible department, following current refueling procedures. * Guide drivers on driving and transporting responsibly and safely in accordance with the Brazilian Traffic Code. * Promote compliance with norms, procedures, or work instructions established by Occupational Medicine, Human Resources, relevant departments, company policy, or applicable legislation. * Train drivers on correct and responsible use of onboard equipment provided by the company (corporate mobile phone, CD player, Auto Trac device, and wheel calibrators). * Perform interior vehicle cleaning, quick windshield and window washing using standard cleaning supplies, to improve appearance and visibility. * Guide drivers on telematics, individual vehicle fuel economy, defensive driving, basic mechanics, tire management, refueling, maintenance, and axle weight regulations. * Guide and train drivers on coupling or uncoupling trailers (Juliette) or semi-trailers (Carreta) as required by departmental needs or route schedules.
