About Us GTOP is comprised of the brands Rede TOP, ObenCard, and Preceiro Atacadista. With multi-family management, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for cashier operations and customer service, adhering to established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning/registering merchandise, collecting payments, performing cash withdrawals from the register, closing the register, and submitting end-of-shift financial reports. KEY ACTIVITIES Ensure excellence in customer service at the checkout by following established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning/weighing items, consulting code tables, checking product labels, verifying weight on scales and system correspondence, processing payments—including validating checks (confirming prior authorization and recording required notations on the back), and verifying authenticity of cash; Ensure timely cash withdrawals during shifts and proper register closure, including counting cash, reconciling totals, signing documentation, and delivering it to the Supervisor and/or depositing into a safe or 24-hour cash box—thereby preventing excessive exposed cash and ensuring accurate financial reporting; Contribute to achieving current campaign targets by promoting available products and services, identifying missing items, and promptly notifying the Supervisor for corrective action; Help reduce front-end losses through preventive measures—including minimizing plastic bag waste, preventing theft, and expediting returns of perishable goods; Maintain the workstation and equipment in optimal working and clean condition; request bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist with sorting goods for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging and handling; Support related tasks as needed, such as shelf and checkout stand restocking, product pricing and expiry date verification, gift wrapping, etc. REQUIREMENTS **Education:** Completed elementary school **Additional Information:** 100% on-site position **Work Location:** R.
