We thrive on challenges, are guided by innovation, and are committed to delivering **high-impact solutions**, every single day. **About the opportunity:** You will serve as the Senior Tech Lead—the primary technical reference for squads responsible for critical financial ecosystem solutions at the cooperative. Your focus will be on products such as PIX, banking transactions, Internet Banking APIs, and billing services—ensuring robust architecture, security, high availability, and regulatory compliance in highly critical systems. **Your responsibilities will include:** * Providing technical leadership to the squad, ensuring engineering excellence; * Defining and evolving product architecture (PIX, IB, and Billing); * Guiding implementation of Java APIs, distributed services, and messaging; * Working on regulatory integrations with BACEN; * Participating in solutions for SPI, DICT, returns, and instant billing; * Ensuring adherence to hexagonal architecture and integration standards; * Conducting code reviews and supporting complex technical decisions; * Ensuring quality practices, testing, automation, and observability; * Collaborating with Architecture, Security, and DevOps teams; * Monitoring product technical health and sustainable evolution; * Mentoring developers and fostering the team’s technical growth. **What you need to have:** * Proven experience as a Tech Lead, Architect, or Senior Developer; * Strong backend Java expertise (Spring, JAX\-RS or similar); * Experience with hexagonal architecture and microservices; * Hands-on experience with messaging systems (JMS, ActiveMQ or equivalent); * Experience with REST APIs, contracts, and critical integrations; * Prior work in financial systems, banks, fintechs, or cooperatives; * Knowledge of PIX: SPI, DICT, PACS/ADM messaging, return flows, and instant billing / dynamic QR Code; * Understanding of performance, concurrency, and error handling; * Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices; * Demonstrated technical leadership and decision-making capability. **Nice-to-have qualifications:** * Experience with Payara and Groovy; * Knowledge of banking security and cryptography (mTLS, BACEN certificates); * Experience with observability tools (Elastic, Grafana, Prometheus); * Experience integrating legacy systems; * Knowledge of API governance and versioning; * Certifications in Java, Architecture, Cloud (AWS), Security, or Agile methodologies; * Experience as a technical mentor and involvement in continuous improvement initiatives.
