If you're serious about growth, for clients and for yourself, you'll find it here. **The Role** As an FP\&A Analyst at Nimbl, you will focus on creating and interpreting financial models, forecasts, and reports that drive key insights for our clients. You'll work closely with our Client Managers and accounting team to translate raw financial data into meaningful guidance for business owners. This is a fully remote, 40 hour/week engagement. **Responsibilities** * Build and maintain forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning models in Google Sheets (must be fluent in complex formulas like INDEX, MATCH, SUMIFS, ARRAYFORMULA, QUERY, etc.) **Analyze historical financial statements to identify trends, anomalies, and key business drivers, and clearly explain what's driving the results** Perform ad hoc financial analysis with minimal instruction and translate ambiguous questions into structured analysis **Work with large datasets, cleaning and preparing data for modeling purposes** Build clear visualizations (charts/tables) that communicate financial insights **Maintain model integrity, owning and troubleshooting your own models end\-to\-end** Deliver monthly and quarterly financial reports for internal and client review **Prioritize and manage tasks independently in a remote environment** Document assumptions and processes clearly to support transparency and replication **Communicate effectively with clients to clarify assumptions, gather inputs, and explain outputs, in support of the Controller and Client Manager** **Availability** Must have at least 5 hours of daily overlap with US Mountain Time between 9am–5pm MT, Monday through Friday, with flexibility for additional overlap as needed for meetings. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or relevant certification a plus) **At least 4 years of small business accounting and FP\&A experience** Deep understanding of financial statements and how transactions and account balances flow **Strong experience building complex financial models in spreadsheets, especially Google Sheets** Experience with US accounting preferred **Advanced English proficiency, written and spoken (this is a client\-facing role with US\-based clients)** Reliable remote setup: stable high\-speed internet, quiet workspace, and ability to use Zoom/Google Meet with camera and audio **Comfortable working with confidential financial information and able to comply with security policies (MFA, password manager, device encryption)** Willing to complete a background check **Compensation** Starting at $24,000/year USD, depending on experience. This is a 40 hour/week independent contractor engagement, paid monthly in USD through Gusto. Contractor is responsible for local taxes and benefits.
