**Job Description**
At Syngenta, our goal is to build the most collaborative and trusted team in agriculture—delivering high-quality seeds and innovative crop protection solutions that improve farmers’ success. To support this mission, Syngenta’s recruitment team is seeking a Junior Maintenance Engineer in Pirassununga/SP. This role’s primary responsibility is to support leadership of a team of technicians to meet production area needs, ensuring reliability, technical efficiency, and service quality in maintenance activities—always in compliance with internal policies on Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety.
**Responsibilities:**
* Support and assist the team in developing preventive and predictive maintenance plans, contributing to their improvement through evaluation of equipment drawings and technical documentation;
* Analyze failures and deviations in maintenance processes and new equipment installations, reporting impacts on scheduling, conducting root cause investigations, and monitoring implementation of corrective actions;
* Support Maintenance Coordinators in analyzing and resolving maintenance-related issues, as well as drafting and reviewing internal maintenance procedures and work instructions—aiming for continuous improvement;
* Conduct assessments and studies regarding obsolete parts, proposing appropriate disposition and stock removal where applicable;
* Monitor area reliability KPIs, identifying market tools and innovations that generate data and indicators to support managerial decision-making.
**Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree completed in Mechanical Engineering or related fields;
* Proven experience in maintenance;
* Intermediate Office Suite proficiency (Excel, Word);
* Resilient and proactive profile, with ownership mindset, strong influencing ability, and capacity to operate strategically in high-demand scenarios.
**Desirable:**
* Knowledge of SAP and Sim\+
