* Interest in learning about routines in departments: Operating Room, Nursing Station, or Patient Care.
* Basic knowledge of: Biosafety, Material Organization, Environmental Cleaning and Preparation, and Patient Reception.
* Strong verbal communication skills, ethical conduct, and a welcoming attitude when interacting with patients and staff.
* Responsibility and organization in handling materials and documentation.
* Ability to follow instructions and work under direct supervision.
* Willingness to collaborate in team settings, respecting protocols and professional hierarchy.
* Readiness to learn and develop practical skills within the hospital environment.
* Support patient reception by assisting with guidance on care flow and contributing to a humanized environment.
* Assist in performing pre\-ophthalmological examinations, such as visual acuity measurement, tonometry, and initial tests, always under the supervision of the responsible technician or nurse.
* Administer mydriatic eye drops following institutional protocols and under direct guidance from technical staff.
* Organize materials and equipment used in departments (Operating Room, Central Sterile Supply Department [CME], or Patient Care), ensuring cleanliness, proper labeling, and timely restocking.
* Accompany staff in preparing the operating room, observing the setup process and material verification.
* Assist in sorting, verifying, packaging, and dispatching materials for sterilization at the CME.
* Support dilution and labeling of materials where applicable, always under direct supervision.
* Assist in updating records, completing forms, and adhering to departmental protocols.
* Collaborate in inventory control, checking expiration dates, storage conditions, and restocking needs.
* Accompany patient admission to the pre\-operative area, reinforcing basic care measures per staff instructions.
* Observe and learn technical routines, participating in activities as part of professional training.
* Adhere to biosafety standards, ethics, professional confidentiality, and patient safety.
* Perform other support tasks related to learning and departmental routines, always supervised by qualified personnel.
