CI\&T is seeking an experienced Data Developer to join a team dedicated to transforming the digital customer service experience for our telecommunications client. This professional will be responsible for building and maintaining the asynchronous data pipeline that connects customer service channels to conversational intelligence systems, ensuring data integrity, durability, and governance. The Data Developer will operate at the project's data backbone, ensuring that events generated from customer service interactions are reliably captured, processed, and persisted in transactional and analytical databases. The role demands a balance of deep technical knowledge in data engineering, event-driven architecture vision, and commitment to data governance and regulatory compliance. The project has a minimum duration of six months, with a high likelihood of extension. **Responsibilities:** **Data Pipeline Architecture and Implementation:** * Build and maintain asynchronous data pipelines connecting customer service channels (WhatsApp, mobile app, voice) to AI systems and persistence stores * Implement idempotent and resilient event consumers, ensuring reliable processing even under failure or reprocessing scenarios * Model data schemas for customer service events, considering traceability, auditability, and analytical requirements **Transactional and Analytical Persistence Management:** * Ensure data integrity and durability in transactional and analytical databases, optimizing read/write performance according to usage patterns * Manage the full lifecycle of data objects, including audio files, transcripts, and interaction metadata * Implement partitioning, indexing, and query optimization strategies to meet performance requirements **Streaming and Real-Time Processing:** * Develop real-time data ingestion and processing solutions using event streaming technologies * Monitor pipeline latency, throughput, and reliability, implementing continuous improvements **Data Governance and Compliance:** * Ensure compliance with the General Data Protection Law (LGPD) through masking and anonymization techniques for personally identifiable information (PII) in traces, logs, and datasets * Implement access controls, auditing, and data lineage tracking for sensitive data throughout the information lifecycle **Collaboration and Integration:** * Collaborate closely with data scientists, developers, and architects to ensure the persistence and event layers align with AI solution requirements * Document schemas, data flows, and architectural decisions to facilitate platform maintenance and evolution **Requirements:** * Proven experience as a Data Developer * Strong proficiency in advanced SQL, including query optimization, indexing, and relational database performance tuning * Proficiency in Python for data processing and transformation, including relevant libraries from the data ecosystem * Practical experience in data modeling for transactional and event-driven architectures * Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and their managed data services (AWS, GCP, Azure, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) * Prior experience in projects involving artificial intelligence, machine learning, or automated customer service systems * Ability to balance technical, business, and governance requirements in data solutions **Nice to Have:** * Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including Autonomous Database and Object Storage * Knowledge of lifecycle management strategies for objects in large-scale storage * Familiarity with data governance frameworks, PII masking, and LGPD compliance * Experience with Redis or other caching solutions for optimizing data access * Familiarity with data observability and pipeline tracing tools (e.g., Langfuse or equivalents) * Experience in the telecommunications sector or industries with high-volume transactions and customer interactions \#LI\-JP3 **Our benefits:** * Health and dental insurance; * Meal and food allowance; * Childcare assistance; * Extended parental leave; * Partnerships with gyms and health/wellness professionals via Wellhub (Gympass, TotalPass); * Profit and Results Sharing Program (PLR); * Life insurance; * Continuous learning platform (CI\&T University); * Discount club; * Free online platform dedicated to promoting physical, mental, and overall well-being; * Pregnancy and responsible parenting courses; * Partnerships with online course platforms; * Language learning platform; * And many more More details about our benefits here: https://ciandt.com/br/pt\-br/carreiras At CI\&T, inclusion begins at first contact.
