Senior Full Stack Developer

### **About the position** We are looking for a full stack developer with strong expertise in PHP/Laravel and Vue.js / Nuxt to work on high-impact digital products at Petlove, with a focus on performance, scalability, reliability, and user experience. You will work within Health squads, closely collaborating with Product, Design, and Engineering teams, participating in technical decisions, architecture evolution, and continuous platform improvement. This role also involves working on projects developed in Go, especially in contexts requiring high performance and scalability. We seek someone interested in the practical application of Artificial Intelligence, using AI to optimize code, processes, automation, and product evolution. ### **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop and maintain scalable, performant, and secure backend applications * Design and evolve efficient, well-defined APIs * Contribute to architectural, performance, and scalability decisions * Develop and enhance services in PHP/Laravel, Vue JS, and Go, as required by product needs * Implement and monitor observability, metrics, and monitoring * Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to engineering best practices * Actively participate in code reviews, standard definition, and technical improvements * Explore and apply AI for technical and product optimization ### **Tech Stack & Technologies:** * Back\-end: PHP (Laravel), Go * Front\-end: Vue.js * Cloud: GCP and AWS * Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL * Messaging: SNS, SQS or similar * Architecture \& practices: REST APIs, microservices, TDD, SOLID, Clean Architecture, Design Patterns * Infra \& DevOps: Docker, CI/CD, Git * Observability: application monitoring, logging, metrics, and performance ### **Required Qualifications:** * Solid production experience with PHP / Laravel and Go * Fullstack profile * Experience with Vue.js / Nuxt and UI components * Strong foundation in software engineering and best practices * Ability to design solutions with performance, scalability, and reliability in mind * Experience with APIs, relational databases, and messaging systems * Strong communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams * Interest in and familiarity with Artificial Intelligence tools and applications ### **Nice-to-have:** * Experience with distributed architectures and microservices * Experience with observability and performance optimization * Participation in technical discovery and architecture discussions * Contributions to automation, internal tools, or DX improvements We are Brazil's largest pet ecosystem, united by one purpose: transforming the world into a place where pets are happier and healthier.
