Senior Data Engineer

Transform your professional journey at SantoDigital! We are seeking a professional to work as a Data Engineer in the Data Engineering team, building applications on Google Cloud Platform. The Data Engineer's responsibilities include developing data pipelines, ingesting data from diverse sources, managing ETL and ELT governance, and delivering Business Intelligence with Augmented Intelligence. Responsibilities and Duties Proactively drive technical upskilling initiatives for data team members. Design and develop data engineering pipelines for systems; Build reliable data architectures jointly with technical and business teams; Build trustworthy data pipelines; * Build analytical dashboards; Prepare technical documentation, presentations, and reports regarding the systems you work on, aiming to improve development quality and project processes; Participate in selecting, building, and integrating technologies that will compose our data stack, ensuring our infrastructure becomes a reference for best practices and scalability.; * Support the pre-sales team; * Autonomy to execute and propose new solutions; * Collaborate with the data engineering team to foster personal and professional growth of engineers; * Promote a data-driven culture within the company and among our clients. REQUIREMENTS: * Experience with Google Cloud Platform environments; * Experience in data integration projects; * Experience orchestrating pipelines using Apache Airflow; * Experience with Apache Beam or DataFlow; * Development and maintenance of ETL routines; * Advanced knowledge of cloud-based big data technologies and tools for data ingestion, storage, and processing; * Advanced knowledge of data structures, software development, and algorithms; * Strong expertise in SQL, relational and non-relational database modeling; * Strong expertise in Business Intelligence platforms; * Solid software development knowledge (requirements analysis, architecture, design, coding, testing, and solution deployment); * Knowledge of data governance and cloud security; * Version control tools such as GIT; * Strong proficiency in Python or Java; Knowledge of SQL, Relational Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server), and DataViz tools (Looker, PowerBI, Tableau); PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Development experience with Google Cloud Data Fusion (CDAP); * Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification; * Experience with DBT; * Experience with DataOps; * Experience with Machine Learning; * Distributed processing (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Hive); * Experience working with Agile methodologies; * Data Architecture (Data Lake, Data Warehouse); WORK HOURS: 9 AM – 6 PM (1-hour lunch break) If this opportunity resonates with you, please send your resume to rh@santodigital.com.br.
