And this is just the beginning. ### **Your day-to-day will include:** We’re looking for a Senior Backend Developer with proven experience in Java, capable of working with modern architectures, distributed environments, and complex integrations. The professional will be responsible for designing, developing, and evolving highly reliable microservices, significantly contributing to technical decisions and engineering practices. * Develop and maintain high-performance microservices and APIs, focusing on reliability and scalability * Design robust integrations between internal and external systems within distributed, highly complex environments * Implement solutions using NestJS and TypeScript, following engineering best practices * Work with messaging and event-driven communication using tools such as Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ, Solace, Kafka, and similar technologies * Create and maintain technical documentation with Swagger * Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and coverage * Actively contribute to architectural discussions and technical design decisions * Enhance CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with the team’s DevOps culture * Work alongside agile teams and support modern software engineering practices ### **Requirements and qualifications:** * Strong hands-on experience with **Node.js (NestJS) and Java** * Practical experience with NestJS, TypeScript, and microservice architectures * Solid knowledge of **messaging and asynchronous communication**: Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ, Kafka, and similar technologies * Proficiency in Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes * Experience with **GCP**, including Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and related services * Deep understanding of SOLID principles, Clean Code, and design patterns * Experience with Git and GitLab in collaborative workflows * **Fluent English is mandatory**, with daily use in technical and international contexts (one stage of the process includes a technical interview in English with the European team) ### **Not required, but valued:** * Certifications in GCP or other cloud platforms * Prior involvement in strategic architectural decisions * Experience in large-scale, highly complex integration environments * Experience in the automotive sector or with connected products ### **What’s it like to work at Skopia?** * Challenging projects: Work on cloud journeys, architecture, development, and generative AI for major clients, solving complex problems. * Unlimited growth: As a high-speed company, we offer space for you to lead, innovate, and develop. * Authentic tech culture: Here, you can be a senior engineer — but never stop learning.
