Transportation Supervisor

Description: We are seeking a professional to work as a Transportation Supervisor in our company. The supervisor will be responsible for coordinating freight transportation operations, ensuring efficiency and safety in deliveries. Responsibilities: * Coordinate freight transportation operations, ensuring efficiency and safety of activities; * Lead driver teams, guiding and monitoring daily activities; * Plan delivery routes, considering customer deadlines and demands; * Ensure preventive vehicle maintenance, guaranteeing fleet availability; * Analyze performance indicators, proposing corrective and preventive actions; * Negotiate with transportation service providers to optimize costs and quality; * Ensure compliance with safety regulations and applicable legislation; * Participate in strategic meetings to align transportation activities with company objectives; * Develop and implement continuous improvement processes in the transportation area; * Provide support in daily interactions with other departments in the absence of Management; * Collaborate with management on daily strategies for order fulfillment and departmental routines, monitor progress and provide accountability; * Monitor employee development, motivating and training them on a daily basis; * Identify and understand operational team issues, reporting them to Management and Executive Leadership for resolution and maintaining a pleasant work environment; * Monitor employee entry times, breaks, and departure times; * Report any rule violations to Management and HR; * Safeguard company assets to maintain their integrity and proper usage; * Instruct employees not to use mobile phones during working hours; * Support and enforce the Code of Conduct and Employee Handbook. Requirements: * Prior experience in transportation and logistics. * Knowledge of vehicle fleet management. * Team leadership and conflict resolution skills. * Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions. * Completed undergraduate degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields.
