Join us too! **Opportunity:** Occupational Safety Technician **Summary of Responsibilities:** Maintain inspection of D'GRANEL's facilities and equipment in accordance with occupational safety regulations; verify and enhance employee training programs, supervise the proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and ensure compliance with applicable occupational safety legislation. **Responsibilities:** * Record workplace accidents, specifying time and severity, among other data, using the designated internal form; * Propose accident prevention measures to D'GRANEL's managers and inform them of potential risk conditions so that actions may be taken to eliminate/minimize accidents; * Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, especially the PPRA (Program for Prevention of Environmental Hazards) and PCMSO (Occupational Health Monitoring Program); * Inspect the company's production areas to assess risk conditions and verify workers' correct use of PPE; * Conduct periodic inspections of all fire extinguishers in the company and request replacement or recharging from the responsible department as needed; * Advise workers regarding existing risks in their work areas; * Conduct occupational safety training sessions; * Promote the development of safety-related informational notices and forward them to the responsible department for dissemination; * Investigate workplace accidents, identify and evaluate root causes, and propose preventive measures; * Maintain continuous communication with the CIPA (Internal Commission for Accident Prevention), fully leveraging its observations and providing support, training, and assistance per NR-5 regulations; * Manage and distribute PPE to employees; * Conduct site visits at companies served by D'GRANEL to identify hazardous situations and verify proper PPE usage.
