It is essential that this analyst possesses the ability to translate operational experience into continuous improvements for infrastructure and applications. Key Responsibilities * Monitoring and Incidents: Proactively monitor the health of services and infrastructure hosted on GCP. * Cloud Diagnosis: Diagnose and resolve incidents and performance issues in essential Google Cloud services, such as Compute Engine (VMs), Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and networking services (VPC). * Access Management: Manage users and permissions using Identity and Access Management (IAM) within the GCP environment. * Cost Optimization: Monitor and identify opportunities for resource and cost optimization in the cloud environment. * Level 2/3 Support: Serve as the escalation focal point for complex and difficult-to-resolve issues related to internally developed (proprietary) software. * Log and Error Analysis: Perform detailed analysis of application logs (in coordination with the development team, if necessary) to identify root causes (Root Cause Analysis – RCA) of failures. * Deployments and Updates: Support or execute deployment and update processes for systems in the cloud environment (basic CI/CD). * Databases: Perform basic database queries and manipulations (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Cloud SQL) for diagnostics and data correction. * Escalation: Manage escalation workflows to the Development team (Level 3) when issues reside in the code layer. * Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation (KBs – Knowledge Bases, Runbooks) for Level 1 Support and Level 2 problem-resolution solutions. Minimum Requirements * Education: Completed or ongoing undergraduate degree (final year) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related fields. * Cloud Experience: Proven hands-on experience supporting and administering environments on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). * Proprietary Systems: Experience providing technical support for business applications (ERP, CRM, legacy systems, or proprietary systems). * Databases: Solid knowledge of SQL for querying and diagnostics. * Operating Systems: Proficiency in administration and troubleshooting of Linux and/or Windows Server environments. * Networking: Advanced knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, Firewall, VPN, VPC) applied in cloud environments.
