Focus on continuous improvement, productivity, and resource optimization **Summary of Responsibilities:** The Mine Operations Superintendent will be responsible for leading, coordinating, and supervising mining operations at a gold mine located in Itaituba (PA). The role involves ensuring the efficient, safe, and sustainable execution of mining activities, guaranteeing compliance with production plans, safety, occupational health, and environmental regulations, as well as optimizing operational resources. This professional will play a strategic role in mine operations management, monitoring performance indicators, making operational decisions, and developing teams to promote high performance, productivity, and continuous operational improvement. **Key Responsibilities:** * Manage and coordinate daily mine operations, including excavation, drilling, blasting, hauling, mine infrastructure, and site operational activities; * Ensure compliance with safety, occupational health, and environmental regulations, focusing on risk prevention and mitigation of environmental impacts; * Supervise and optimize the use of human resources, equipment, and materials to achieve operational efficiency and productivity; * Develop, implement, and monitor production plans and strategies aimed at improving performance and reducing operational costs; * Monitor operational performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare managerial reports for senior leadership review; * Lead and develop operational teams, promoting continuous training, engagement, and strengthening of safety culture; * Manage relationships and interfaces with partner operational areas, ensuring integration among operational activities; * Implement and monitor operational projects aligned with the company’s strategic guidelines; * Analyze operational risks and implement preventive and corrective actions, focusing on personnel safety and operational sustainability; * Ensure compliance with applicable mining sector regulations and company operational requirements. **Required Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Production Engineering, Geology, or related fields; * Minimum 10 years of experience in mining operations management, preferably in gold, nickel, copper, or iron operations; * Experience managing mine operations in remote or hard-to-access environments; * Strong experience in leadership and management of mining operational teams; * Experience managing human, material, and financial resources in large-scale operations; * Knowledge of sustainable mining practices and applicable environmental and safety regulations; * Ability to make decisions in complex and high-pressure operational environments; * Familiarity with mining technologies, mine management systems, and performance monitoring tools. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Postgraduate degree or MBA in Business Management, Business Administration, or related fields; * Experience in operational improvement and process optimization projects in mining; * Advanced English proficiency is a plus. **Additional Information:** * Work schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off; FIFO; * Transportation, accommodation, and meals provided by the company. **About the Company:** G Mining Ventures (GMIN) is a gold mining company focused on acquiring, developing, and operating precious metals projects.
