Job Summary: The Mine Operations Superintendent will lead, coordinate, and supervise mining operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and sustainability, optimizing resources and developing teams. Focus on safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement. **Summary of Responsibilities:** The Mine Operations Superintendent will be responsible for leading, coordinating, and supervising mining operations at a gold mine located in Itaituba (PA). The role ensures efficient, safe, and sustainable execution of mining activities, compliance with production plans, occupational health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and optimization of operational resources. This professional plays a strategic role in mine operations management, performance indicator monitoring, operational decision-making, and team development, promoting high performance, productivity, and continuous operational improvement. **Key Responsibilities:** * Manage and coordinate daily mine operations, including excavation, drilling, blasting, hauling, mine infrastructure, and site operational activities; * Ensure compliance with safety, occupational health, and environmental regulations, proactively preventing risks and mitigating environmental impacts; * Supervise and optimize the use of human resources, equipment, and materials to achieve operational efficiency and productivity; * Develop, implement, and monitor production plans and strategies aimed at improving performance and reducing operational costs; * Monitor operational performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare management reports for senior leadership review; * Lead and develop operational teams, promoting continuous training, engagement, and reinforcement of safety culture; * Manage relationships and interfaces with partner departments to ensure seamless integration across operational activities; * Implement and monitor operational projects aligned with the company’s strategic guidelines; * Analyze operational risks and implement preventive and corrective actions, prioritizing personnel safety and operational sustainability; * Ensure compliance with applicable mining sector regulations and company operational requirements. **Required Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Production Engineering, Geology, or related fields; * Minimum 10 years’ experience in mining operations management, preferably in gold, nickel, copper, or iron operations; * Experience managing mine operations in remote or hard-to-access environments; * Strong experience in leadership and management of mining operational teams; * Experience managing human, material, and financial resources in large-scale operations; * Knowledge of sustainable mining practices and applicable environmental and safety regulations; * Ability to make decisions in complex, high-pressure operational environments; * Familiarity with mining technologies, mine management systems, and performance monitoring tools. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Postgraduate degree or MBA in Business Management, Business Administration, or related fields; * Experience in operational improvement and process optimization projects in mining; * Advanced English proficiency is a plus. **Additional Information:** * Work schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off; FIFO; * Transportation, accommodation, and meals provided by the company. **About the Company:** G Mining Ventures (GMIN) is a gold mining company focused on acquiring, developing, and operating precious metals projects.
