Work involving physical environment studies We are seeking a Geologist to work on environmental projects, focusing on environmental licensing, physical environment studies, and environmental monitoring programs. The professional will perform technical activities related to applied geology in socio-environmental projects, integrating multidisciplinary teams and contributing to the development of studies, diagnostics, and environmental monitoring. **Main Responsibilities** * Conduct geological, geotechnical, and environmental field surveys * Plan and execute sampling campaigns and environmental monitoring programs * Collect, describe, and interpret soil and geological material samples * Interpret geological, geotechnical, geophysical, and laboratory data * Prepare geological, geomorphological, and thematic maps * Characterize the physical environment and support environmental modeling * Estimate geometry, distribution, and behavior of geological units * Prepare technical reports, diagnostics, and environmental studies * Support and/or prepare Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA/RIMA) * Participate in environmental licensing processes with agencies such as CETESB * Monitor and analyze results from environmental monitoring programs (soil, water, air, and physical environment) * Organize, process, and interpret environmental databases * Participate in the planning and execution of field activities **Requirements:** * Degree in Geology * Active registration with CREA * Experience in environmental geology, geotechnics, or applied physical environment * Experience in fieldwork and interpretation of technical data * Experience in environmental monitoring (a significant advantage) * Strong technical writing skills and analytical ability * Availability for travel and fieldwork **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience in environmental licensing and environmental studies (EIA/RIMA, RCA, PCA) * Knowledge of geoprocessing (GIS) * Experience in structured environmental monitoring programs * Experience in environmental consulting or environmental engineering * Knowledge of physical environment modeling **Additional Information:** * Involvement in multidisciplinary engineering and environmental projects * Strong interface with environmental licensing and monitoring activities Compensation: R$8\.000,00 per month Benefits: * Medical assistance * Dental assistance * Fuel allowance * Life insurance * Meal voucher * Company vehicle Work Location: On-site
