We are seeking professionals to work as Cost and Control Engineers in **Água Azul do Norte \- PA.** **Responsibilities and Duties** **Plan, control, and analyze costs of underground mining operations, ensuring budget adherence, operational efficiency, and decision-making support through integration among planning, finance, and operations.** **Main Activities** * Develop, monitor, and control the operational (OPEX) and capital (CAPEX) budgets. * Develop and update physical-financial progress curves, ensuring consistency between mining advancement and associated costs. * Monitor cost indicators per ton, per developed meter, and for drilling, blasting, loading, and hauling. * Integrate data from planning engineering, geology, production, and maintenance to consolidate cost projections. * Conduct variance analyses (budget vs. actual) and propose corrective actions. * Support economic feasibility studies, optimization of mining sequencing, and operational methods. * Build and update cost simulations and operational scenarios. * Support monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting processes. * Support short-, medium-, and long-term mining planning. * Monitor indicators related to dilution, ore recovery, equipment productivity, and unit costs. * Manage service contracts (development, drilling, blasting, loading, hauling, and support). * Evaluate measurements, contracted vs. actual productivity, and financial impacts. * Support contract renewal, renegotiation, and benchmarking processes. * Prepare managerial and executive reports for leadership and the board. * Ensure reliability and traceability of cost information. * Support internal and external audits. * Ensure compliance with internal procedures, control policies, and corporate compliance requirements. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory Requirements:** Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering (preferred) or related engineering disciplines. Advanced Excel skills (analysis, dashboards, modeling). ERP system knowledge.
