Job Summary: The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst collects, consolidates, and analyzes financial data to support leadership decision-making, investigates variances, and prepares management reports. Structures databases and prepares analyses for strategic planning. The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP\&A) Analyst will be responsible for collecting, consolidating, and analyzing financial and operational data from various company systems, transforming information into actionable insights that support leadership decision-making. The role involves investigating variances between actual and budgeted results, analyzing business performance, building and updating financial forecasts, and preparing management reports and dashboards. Additionally, the analyst will structure databases, validate data integrity, identify trends, and prepare analyses to support the company’s financial and strategic planning, serving as a liaison between operational departments, accounting, and executive leadership. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related fields, with prior experience in financial analysis, controllership, auditing, or data analysis. Advanced Excel proficiency and foundational accounting knowledge are required, along with strong analytical skills for data interpretation and trend identification. Familiarity with data extraction and manipulation (SQL), visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and applied statistics for data analysis is desirable. We seek an organized, detail-oriented professional with critical thinking skills, business acumen, and strong communication abilities to translate complex analyses into clear insights for leadership. Prior experience in FP\&A, financial planning, or corporate environments handling large volumes of data is considered a plus.
