Job Summary: The Forklift Operator is responsible for moving merchandise within the store, ensuring the forklift operates properly, and supporting restocking and inventory activities. Key Highlights: 1. Moving and organizing merchandise in the store 2. Preventive and corrective maintenance of the forklift 3. Supporting restocking and inventory activities Facilitate and expedite merchandise movement inside the store. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Remove products from shelves; verify the product removal location; isolate the movement area; operate the forklift in compliance with safety regulations; remove pallets containing products and move them to the store floor to supply merchandise to gondolas; * Monitor the forklift's operational condition; check fuel and oil levels; inspect mechanical components; identify potential malfunctions and/or technical issues; promptly inform the immediate supervisor regarding repair or preventive maintenance needs to ensure full forklift availability for store operations; * Support activities carried out by restockers (operators) in the Grocery department by transporting products from the warehouse to appropriate locations (near gondolas), thereby contributing to faster product placement and organization in designated areas; * Provide support during inventory activities (rotating and monthly), separating products at the warehouse according to the established schedule and using the forklift to accelerate the execution of required inventory tasks. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed high school education; * Valid driver's license (CNH); * Certified Forklift Operator training (valid within its expiration date); * Prior experience as a Forklift Operator—preferably in the food retail sector (wholesale, hypermarkets, supermarkets, etc.)—is considered an advantage; **Additional Information** **Work Location:** 100% on-site position **Benefits:** * On-site cafeteria * Multi-Benefit Card * Commuter Pass (Vale-Transporte) * Medical assistance * Dental assistance * Life insurance * Discounts at educational institutions for undergraduate, postgraduate, and extension courses * Roldão Mais: Employees receive wholesale pricing discounts at Roldão Atacadista stores * Maternity Kit * Corporate University – Roldão Academy: Participation in training programs, with personalized learning paths tailored to each employee.
