




Job Summary: A kitchen professional responsible for food pre-preparation, preparation, and organization, maintaining hygiene and quality standards while collaborating as part of a team. Ensure food quality and safety standards Food Preparation: Perform food pre-preparation and preparation following established recipes, techniques, and standards. This includes peeling, cutting, washing, seasoning, and cooking vegetables, fruits, meats, poultry, fish, grains, pasta, bread, desserts, and other items. Kitchen Organization: Maintain kitchen organization and cleanliness, ensuring ingredient, utensil, and equipment hygiene and proper storage. The cook is also responsible for monitoring food inventory, checking product expiration dates, and placing restocking orders when necessary. Quality Control: Ensure prepared foods comply with established quality and food safety standards. This involves monitoring food temperatures, preventing cross-contamination, overseeing personal hygiene, and applying good food handling practices. Teamwork: Collaborate with other kitchen staff, such as kitchen assistants, to ensure workplace efficiency and productivity.
