Responsibilities: **The Opportunity** The Machining Engineer is responsible for the technical and operational management of the company’s Machining Center, ensuring the manufacturing, repair, and development of mechanical parts used in industrial equipment across our factories. This role aims to reduce spare parts costs, increase equipment availability, and develop internal technical solutions through reverse engineering, mechanical design, and CNC machining processes. This professional serves as the technical reference for machining, supporting maintenance, engineering, and industrial projects—ensuring quality, dimensional accuracy, and reliability of produced parts. **Your Impact** o Technical Management of the Machining Center o Technically manage Machining Center activities, ensuring quality and dimensional accuracy in mechanical component manufacturing. o Program, operate, or supervise operations on CNC lathes and machining equipment. o Define manufacturing processes for production or repair of industrial parts. o Part Development and Engineering o Perform reverse engineering of mechanical components for in-house manufacturing. o Develop CNC programs using CAM software. o Create technical drawings and 3D modeling using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks). o Prepare technical specifications and dimensional tolerances for manufacturing. o Industrial Maintenance Support o Provide technical support to the maintenance team in analyzing mechanical component failures. o Develop solutions for replacement or improvement of critical parts. o Repair high-cost or long-lead-time components. o Cost and Efficiency Optimization o Identify opportunities to internalize part production (make vs. buy). o Develop technical alternatives to reduce maintenance costs. o Support initiatives to reduce working capital tied up in spare parts. o Quality and Reliability Management o Ensure produced parts meet technical and operational requirements. o Conduct dimensional inspections and quality validation of manufactured parts. o Implement technical standards for part manufacturing and control. o Technical Interface with Factories Qualifications: **Who We’re Looking For?** * Academic Background: o Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related fields. * Professional Experience: o Solid experience in industrial machining and mechanical manufacturing processes. o Experience with CNC lathes and machining centers. o Experience in high-volume industrial environments. Technical Knowledge o Proficiency in CAM software. o CNC lathe programming and operation. o Reverse engineering of mechanical components. o 3D modeling and technical drawing (SolidWorks or similar software). o Machining processes (turning, milling, drilling, tapping). o Reading and interpretation of technical drawings. o Dimensional tolerances and metrology. o Metallic materials and surface treatments.
