They have autonomy and knowledge to determine their next steps and proactively establish their work processes. They can guide and train analysts and assistants, assign tasks, and support their activities. They may also provide consultancy and technical support to other teams and departments across the company. It is expected that the specialist acts as a key contributor and takes ownership of the categories under their responsibility. Identifying areas for improvement and formulating strategies to achieve them **Responsibilities and Duties** * Frequent research on current trends: design, fashion, industry-specific trends, and market conditions (benchmarking, field research, etc); * Creation in the Fashion Workshop; * Compilation of seasonal trend materials; * Building the collection for their categories in Miro, aligned with the creative direction derived from trend materials; * Modifying and revising existing projects to meet the requirements of each collection; * Designing new products per season and as needed or demanded; * Conducting product selections (pickings) from catalogs and trade fair folders; * Preparing technical specifications for new developments; * Sending technical specifications to suppliers; * Daily email follow-up; * Ongoing project and picking follow-up with suppliers; * Chasing and following up on samples; * Sending approvals or correction requests for all samples; * Updating Miro boards; * Presenting preliminary strategies for their categories; * Developing packaging for products in their lines; * Inspecting all shipments for their lines; * Entering style-related inputs into product registrations; * Aligning with category objectives; * Demonstrating mastery and strong understanding of their category’s collection; * Organizing and taking responsibility for their own tasks; * Collaborative work and joint decision-making with the purchasing team and category managers; * Managing new projects involving analysts and assistants; * Delegating tasks to assistants; * Making strategic decisions jointly with purchasing, planning, and VM teams; * Managing their category’s collection jointly with purchasing, planning, and VM teams; * Participating in trade fairs. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Residency in São Paulo, as this position is hybrid with 3 mandatory in-person days per week at Vila Mariana; * Organization; * Responsibility; * Proactivity; * Extensive retail experience, preferably in product and fashion home collection development; * Extensive experience in pattern and illustration development; * Extensive experience with software such as Photoshop and Illustrator; * Textile and raw material knowledge; * Experience working in multidisciplinary teams; * Problem-solving skills and maturity; * Commitment to excellence and attention to detail; * Prior experience with kitchen-related household utility products is considered a plus; * Intermediate to advanced English proficiency; * Educational background in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Fashion, or Architecture. **Additional Information** **The application deadline for internal candidates is March 17\.** Location: São Paulo/SP \- Vila Mariana Work Model: Hybrid \- 3 days in-office and 2 days remote.
