Job Summary Reporting to the Latin America Regional Technical Services Manager and working collaboratively with the Commercial Director, the primary function of this role is to coordinate the local Technical Services Department to achieve departmental goals and improve service efficiency for customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Organizes and assigns tasks to local technical service engineers to perform scheduled preventive maintenance procedures and unscheduled service requests, thereby better meeting customer and company needs. * Plans and schedules preventive maintenance, installation, and corrective maintenance according to customer service needs and requests. * Performs scheduled preventive maintenance and unscheduled equipment maintenance on all equipment as needed, and serves as backup for other technical service engineers. * Works closely with the local Sales and Clinical Specialists departments to coordinate efforts toward successful customer service regarding equipment installation and maintenance. * Also works cross-functionally within the local organization to resolve unusual and complex issues impacting business operations. * Collaborates with the National Manager to establish the formal technical structure and define necessary activities for the department to achieve its objectives, directing resource and information usage to accomplish those objectives. * Works with the team to support process optimization through proposals for changes to operational procedures and maintenance activities. * Proposes and/or implements permanent corrective actions to eliminate recurring issues, under the guidance of the Latin America Technical Services Coordinator and the local National Manager. * Supports technical service engineers and prepares and submits regular reports on Service Requests, PM, Spare Parts Inventory, Capacity Monitors, and KPIs. * Maintains and controls spare parts inventory under their responsibility, as well as tools and instruments provided by the company. * Enhances technical capabilities of less experienced technicians. Minimum Qualification Requirements **Education:** * Electronic, mechanical, or similar engineering degree. * Intermediate to advanced English or Spanish preferred **Experience:** * Three years of direct or indirect experience managing service teams and/or tasks. **Skills:** * Proven ability to interact and cooperate positively with all members of local organizations, the company, and third parties. * Strong analytical thinking, as well as the ability to apply logical methods to identify and solve technical problems. * Proven ability to manage and develop service representatives. * Proven ability to understand customer commercial and technical needs. * Requires a high level of organizational and territorial management skills. * Demonstrated accountability for field service administrative tasks. * Fluent spoken, written, and reading proficiency in English and Spanish. * Knowledge of Salesforce and ServiceMax (preferred) * PowerApps or similar application management (preferred) **Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:** * Certified technical training on Terumo BCT products * Certified instructor for products sold and operated within their territory **Equipment:** PC, internet, office, advanced communication operation knowledge. **ADDITIONAL INFORMATION** Requires the ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, including physical transport, lifting, pulling, twisting, and equipment operation. May travel internationally.
