Join us and shape your world.**About the Role:** Alcoa is seeking a **Mechanic** to work at its Juruti/PA site. In this position, the professional will be responsible for executing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance plans for industrial assets, serving as a technical reference for high-complexity diagnostics. They will also ensure physical availability and reliability of equipment at Alcoa Juruti’s Beneficiation Plant, Port, and Utilities facilities, always in compliance with safety, quality, and operational excellence standards.**Key Responsibilities Include:* * Act ethically, adhering to company policies, EHS requirements, applicable legislation, and promoting safety, sustainability, and responsible engagement with customers, communities, and government agencies; * Master maintenance procedures, software, and systems (EAM/Mobile), ensuring technically sound execution with quality and reliability, proper recordkeeping, and participation in failure analyses (A3\); * Perform geometric alignments using laser and dial indicators; maintain drives, motors, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, and conveyor belts; * Conduct maintenance on rotary filters, vibrating screens, crushers, and hydrocyclones, including replacement of wear components, balancing, adjustments, and parameter monitoring; * Lead structural installations of chutes and hoppers, spool replacements, mechanical adjustments, and ensure system tightness and integrity; * Develop and review work procedures and instructions focused on EHS, ensure effective preventive maintenance, and serve as both a technical and behavioral reference within the team. **What You Can Bring to This Role:* * Education: Mechanical Technician qualification with active CFT; * Preferred: Technical experience and knowledge in mechanical maintenance of static and dynamic equipment; ability to read and interpret technical drawings; metrology and machine elements; failure analysis and investigation tools (e.g., A3\); * Preferred: Professional profile focused on continuous improvement; systemic view of maintenance processes; proficiency with hand tools and maintenance software; * Knowledge/experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI; technology and integrated systems proficiency. * **Willingness to reside in Juruti\-PA (remote region).** * **Work arrangement: On-site.** **What We Offer:* * Our Essence and Culture: We are driven by strong values — acting with integrity, operating with excellence, caring for people, and leading with courage; * Safety First: Safety is not just a priority — it is part of our DNA.
