Management and analysis of measurement and control systems. **Job Category:** ================= Manufacturing \& Operations **Job Family:** =============== Repair \& Maintenance **Job Description:** ==================== **DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND ATTRIBUTES** Develop logical diagrams and system architecture; Prepare input/output (I/O) lists, design human-machine interface (HMI) screens and supervisory systems; Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs), configure networks, commission machines, and conduct startup activities at the plant; Identify variables involved in the process; Select and determine positions and methods for process measurement and control; Operate standards, equipment, systems, and instruments for measurement and control; Specify instruments for measurement and control systems; Propose and evaluate performance of measurement and control systems; Maintain standards, equipment, systems, and instruments for measurement and control; Technically analyze procurement of measurement and control products and services; Perform, evaluate, and carry out preventive and/or corrective maintenance of equipment, machines, and measurement and control instruments; Perform electro-electronic maintenance on machines, equipment, circuit boards, circuits, control systems, and company installations according to a schedule defined by leadership and/or as requested, using portable materials and devices; Install electrical panels and industrial networks; Conduct routine inspections to diagnose the condition and operational status of equipment; Perform residential and industrial electrical and pneumatic maintenance and installations on equipment; Perform simple mechanical or electrical repairs on machines and equipment, including disassembly and reassembly of respective components; Specify and request materials required for electrical maintenance; Parameterize temperature controllers, timers, pulse counters, frequency inverters, soft-starters, transmitters, relays, etc.; Conduct physical-mechanical tests; Manage technical documentation and reliability systems; Occasionally coordinate work teams; Develop, test, calibrate, operate, and repair measurement and control instruments, devices, and equipment—electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, electro-hydraulic, and electronic; Ensure order and cleanliness at the workplace, including materials, tools, machines, and equipment used in their tasks; request removal, replacement, or repair of parts and equipment by specialized technical support when necessary; Occasionally participate in changes, assembly, or installation of new machines and equipment, working jointly with supplier or manufacturer teams or under leadership guidance; Read, interpret, or participate in preparing technical drawings; read or interpret drawings and sketches; Supervise third-party maintenance professionals for training purposes or provide support and guidance; Ensure adherence to schedules by monitoring progress according to established control plans; Perform other duties related to the position, as directed by leadership; Log working hours in applicable documents and systems; Follow all internal procedures; Perform other tasks of similar nature and complexity associated with the organizational environment; Follow all standard operating procedures and critical control points (CCPs); Complete all operation and non-conformance reports, subsequently communicating them to the respective supervisor; Inspect repairs on mechanical assemblies such as conveyors, drive wheels, pulleys, belts, and gearboxes. Perform equipment lubrication per the maintenance plan. Assist in developing electrical, mechanical, and lubrication maintenance plans. **WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED** High school diploma and a course in mechanics and electricity or electromechanics; Minimum one year of experience in operations or mandatory internship from a technical program; Knowledge of industrial electricity and mechanics; Time management, quick reasoning, customer service, attention to detail, diligence, dynamism, prompt responsiveness, teamwork, initiative, planning and control, learning potential, interpersonal skills, and logical reasoning.
