**General Job Objective**
Program, set up, and operate CNC machining machines in compliance with current safety standards, control the machining process to ensure the specified quality for each part, and record manufacturing and efficiency data.

**Job Requirements**
Education
* Completed high school
* Completed Technical Course in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Training
* CAM programming for machining centers and CNC lathes
* Programming, setup, and operation of CNC machining centers
* Programming, setup, and operation of CNC lathes
* 5S
* Kaizen (desirable)
* Quality Control Assistant (desirable)
Experience
* Minimum 2 years of experience in the field
Competencies/Skills
* Knowledge of OEE concepts and loss tree
* Knowledge of WCM analysis tools
* SAP knowledge
* Organization
* Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
* Strong analytical and logical reasoning ability
* Communication
**Key Responsibilities**
* Develop and apply knowledge in methodology and interpretation of technical drawings.
* Perform CAM programming based on factory part technical drawings.
* Organize and back up CAM programs for part machining.
* Prepare, adjust, and set\-up CNC machines; organize and maintain machining tooling in the area.
* Conduct CNC machine release tests.
* Operate automatic saws, CNC lathes, and CNC machining centers according to current safety standards and requirements.
* Perform measurements and final inspection reports for machined parts within current quality standards.
* Ensure efficient use of raw materials, avoid waste, and suggest process improvements to reduce costs.
* Ensure checking inventory levels in the spare parts warehouse.
* Develop and deliver area-specific training.
* Comply with all operational and cleaning procedures in the area.
* Report detected anomalies clearly and objectively to coordination.
* Ensure application of engineering standards in the area.
* Participate in equipment and industrial process improvement initiatives according to the factory’s improvement workflow.
* Proactively identify situations that could jeopardize machining operations and take necessary actions to eliminate risks.
* Identify alternatives and implement operational actions to reduce energy consumption through critical analysis of various operational parameters monitored by the department.
