Job Summary: This professional will guide crane operators, control load maneuvers, interpret load plans, and ensure safety during load handling. Key Highlights: 1. Orientation and supervision of crane operators 2. Load control and maneuvering with a focus on safety 3. Reading, interpretation, and execution of load plans Guide crane operators using correct hand signals and signaling equipment. Control and perform maneuvers related to load weight, volume, lashing conditions, slings, and locks applied to loads. Read, interpret, and execute load movement plans and schedules. Report incidents occurring during load handling to the responsible person. Complete compliance checklists at the beginning and end of each shift. Direct load movement via lifting equipment or systems using conventional signals to carry out transportation, lifting, handling, and storage of loads—initially verifying system capacity and the operational status and good condition of equipment. Perform load lashing operations for lifting or handling, complying with safety requirements. Inspect components of lifting systems, such as steel cables, straps, shackles, spreader beams, and accessories. Verify potential interferences, area isolation, and signage. Responsible for signaling, issuing commands via visual and/or audible signals. Review load plans. Comply with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
