Job Summary: Manage and coordinate Smart Metering projects for utilities, ensuring high-quality IoT solutions delivered on time and within budget, aligned with customers' technical and regulatory requirements. Key Highlights: 1. Lead the full lifecycle of Smart Metering projects. 2. Act as the single point of contact among all stakeholders. 3. Ensure regulatory compliance and cybersecurity in IoT. **Vice Presidency:** B2B - Telefónica Tech / IoT **Work Location:** Barueri and Berrini. **Mission:** Manage and coordinate Smart Metering (advanced metering infrastructure) projects for utilities, ensuring delivery of high-quality IoT solutions on time and within budget, aligned with customers' technical and regulatory requirements. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Lead the full lifecycle of Smart Metering projects**, from conception, planning, deployment, and operations—with emphasis on field operations. **Manage schedules, scope, risks, costs, and quality**, ensuring milestones are met and the project remains within defined targets. **Act as the single point of contact among all stakeholders**—internal departments, suppliers, integrators, field technical teams, and customers (electricity, water, or gas utilities). **Conduct progress meetings**, prepare executive reports, presentations, and status reports for senior management and stakeholders. **Evaluate technical requirements**, ensuring alignment among IoT architecture, smart meter specifications, telecommunications, and management systems (meters, connectivity, MDM / HES / CRM / Billing). **Coordinate field tests and pilots**, ensuring compliance with security standards, interoperability, and connectivity (Wi-SUN, NB-IoT, LTE-M, LoRaWAN, Satellite IoT, etc.). **Manage contracts and SLAs** with hardware, software, telecom, and installation service providers. **Support IoT device certification processes**, certifications, and integration with IoT platforms or corporate systems. **Monitor project performance indicators (KPIs)** such as reading success rate, communication success rate, latency, and network reliability. **Drive change management** and support organizational adaptation in large-scale projects. **Ensure regulatory compliance**, alignment with technical standards (i) and best practices for IoT cybersecurity. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Academic Background** Engineering or related technology disciplines. **Behavioral Skills and Experience** * Proven experience managing field teams. * Team builder and leader of diverse teams. * Clear communication skills and ability to structure information. * Data-driven, rapid decision-making capability. * Systemic vision and ability to work under pressure. * Analytical mindset and problem-solving orientation. * Leadership, empathy, and ability to lead diverse teams. * Experience with Agile projects (SCRUM and KANBAN); * Knowledge of change management (discovery, delivery, prioritization, refinement, etc.); * Experience developing business cases, business plans, and schedules; * Experience with time management and delivery quality; * **Advanced English.** **Additional Information** At Telefónica Tech, we spare no effort in supporting and valuing our employees!
