We are looking for a Senior Internal Auditor to work in the Internal Audit Department at Central Sicredi South/Southeast, located in Porto Alegre.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Support the assessment of internal audit strategic drivers and priorities, aiming to act as a facilitator in identifying risks and risk factors that may significantly impact the achievement of strategic objectives;
* Execute audit work programs with a high degree of autonomy, ensuring adherence to legal and internal regulations and applying the appropriate methodology to audit procedures;
* Comply with regulatory requirements assigned to Central and collaborate with Cooperatives to prevent reputational damage;
* Contribute to the sustainable development of Cooperatives through preventive and educational activities;
* Influence the development (at both Central and Cooperatives) of risk management and compliance culture across business operations;
* Evaluate internal control procedures related to processes and transactions defined within the scope of work;
* Serve as the team’s technical reference, supporting, guiding, and sharing knowledge with less experienced auditors, thereby contributing to the team’s technical development and maturity.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Completed undergraduate degree in Accounting Sciences, Business Administration, Economics, Information Technology, or related fields;
* Experience in Auditing, Internal Controls, or Risk Management;
* IT and data analysis skills;
* Basic English and intermediate Excel proficiency;
* Availability for travel.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification;
* Risk Management certification (ISO 31000\);
* Completed or ongoing Specialization/MBA;
* Knowledge of auditing procedures for the Brazilian Financial System, IPPF, and COSO;
* Knowledge of Cybersecurity and Information Security.

**Additional Information**
Hybrid work model, alternating remote work and in-office days at the Central Sicredi South/Southeast office located in Porto Alegre, Praia de Belas neighborhood.
