Learn more about how we deliver excellence for our customers and colleagues at DXC.com. **Essential Job Functions:** * Accompany vendors and customers in restricted areas of the data center. * Support operational communications (calls, incidents, changes). * Access control: review, approve, and validate requests per policies. * Support planning for equipment installation, removal, and rack/cabling layout. * Update inspection forms and support technical reviews. * Log and update tickets in internal tools. **Basic Qualifications:** * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Excel, PowerPoint, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Visio, and other Office suite applications. * Familiarity with IT infrastructure equipment such as servers, storage systems, switches, and racks. * Solid knowledge of data center environments and infrastructure, including networking, protocols, telecommunications, and disaster recovery practices. * Experience in physical equipment inspection, inventory updates, asset organization, and audit support. * Experience managing and controlling technical documentation, such as BoM, BoL, and equipment removal forms. * Execution of assembly, disassembly, scanning, inventory, and logistics activities for media shipment/receipt. * Experience in initial troubleshooting, including cable, power, and console access analysis. * Installation, removal, and testing of cabling (copper, fiber optic, MPO, DWDM). **Desired Qualifications:** * Analytical skills, problem-solving ability, teamwork, and conflict management. * Organizational skills and clear communication (written and verbal). * Availability for rotating shifts (day/night), weekends, and holidays. **What Are We Offering?** A range of benefits, competitive salary, and our core values make DXC one of the most important and attractive employers worldwide.
