Description

We are looking for a person to lead the technology area both technically and operationally, guiding the engineering team, evolving system architecture, and ensuring delivery quality, predictability, and efficiency. This role combines strategic involvement with strong day-to-day technical engagement, integrating development, people management, and process improvement. **Responsibilities and duties** * 8+ years of software development experience, including **at least 4 years leading technical teams** (Tech Lead, Engineering Manager, or equivalent). * Solid proficiency in **C# / .NET (ASP.NET Core)** in production environments. * Practical experience with **Node.js** for services and APIs. * Design and versioning of APIs using **REST, GraphQL, and gRPC** — selecting the right approach for each scenario. * Real-world experience with **distributed systems**: messaging/events (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), eventual consistency, idempotency, resilience patterns (retry, circuit breaker, timeouts), and observability (logs, metrics, tracing). * Relational and non-relational databases, with understanding of modeling and performance optimization. * Containers (Docker) and **CI/CD** pipelines. * Ability to make and justify architectural decisions based on scalability, cost, and sustainability. #### **Leadership and management** * Coordination of deliveries: planning, backlog prioritization, and progress tracking. * Quality culture: code reviews, testing, and engineering standards. * Technical mentoring and team development. * Operational management: incident handling, SLAs, and monitoring of OKRs/KPIs. * Clear communication with executive leadership and business areas. #### **Behavioral profile** * Autonomy and maturity to make decisions without constant validation — essential given the transitional context. * Strong teaching ability to absorb knowledge transfer and subsequently disseminate it across the team. * Balance between pragmatism (delivering) and technical vision (avoiding unsustainable technical debt). **Requirements and qualifications** #### **Nice-to-haves (desirable)** Prior experience driving architectural evolution (e.g., monolith → modular/microservices, or consolidation). * Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and orchestration with Kubernetes. * Event-driven architectures and/or Domain-Driven Design (DDD). * Experience integrating with payment methods. * Experience in e-commerce. **Additional information** **Contract model: PJ + Benefits:** * Gympass; * TotalPass; * Birthday Day Off; * Dental plan (100% discount per plan); * Childcare allowance; * Extended maternity leave (180 days); * Extended paternity leave (30 days); * Extended parental leave (120 days); * Full Pitzi protection; * Leapfone subscription facilitation; * Annual bonus.
