Inventory management and equipment maintenance CORDEIRO SUPERMARKET IS SEEKING THE FOLLOWING POSITION FOR ITS STORE: COLD STORAGE SUPERVISOR ***Main Responsibilities of a Cold Storage Supervisor:*** * **Production Coordination:** Organize workflow, assign tasks, and ensure production meets demand and quality standards. * **Team Management:** Lead, motivate, and train the production team, ensuring optimal performance and workplace safety. * **Quality Control:** Monitor product quality at all process stages—from slaughter to storage—ensuring compliance with established standards. * **Equipment Maintenance:** Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of refrigeration, slaughter, and deboning equipment, ensuring proper operation and avoiding unplanned downtime. * **Inventory Management:** Control inventory of products, raw materials, and equipment, ensuring availability of necessary production materials. * **Hygiene and Safety:** Ensure adherence to hygiene and occupational safety regulations, maintaining a safe and clean working environment. * **Interdepartmental Coordination:** Liaise with procurement, logistics, and sales departments to integrate operations and ensure customer satisfaction. * ***Required Skills and Knowledge:*** * Experience in cold storage facilities and production processes. * Knowledge of food hygiene and safety. * Leadership and team management skills. * Familiarity with maintenance of refrigeration and slaughter equipment. * Ability to organize and manage inventory. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
