Work across multiple hospital departments **Description:** Nursing Technician\- First Responder\- Fixed-Term Contract\- Concórdia Unit **Salary:** R$ 2\.021,52\+ benefits **Schedule:** Monday to Thursday, 07:00 to 17:00 / Friday, 07:00 to 16:00 **Required:** Completed High School Education and Technical Nursing Course **Desirable (a plus for candidates, not mandatory for hiring):** Experience in hemodynamics / Intensive Care / Operating Room; Emergency care experience Provide direct patient care and assistance to patients undergoing hemodynamic examinations and other SADT departments, ensuring holistic care that respects the patient’s culture, customs, and immediate needs, consistently promoting safe surgical practices per departmental guidelines. Adhere to the professional code of ethics and applicable legislation as standard practice; maintain ethical conduct, acting respectfully and in alignment with institutional values; treat all individuals courteously, demonstrate enthusiasm and planning skills; promptly inform your immediate supervisor of absences, delays, and request authorization for scheduled leaves or early departures; actively participate in actions, training sessions, and meetings coordinated by nursing supervision and management; follow departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Protocols (POP); use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as mandated by the department; prepare patients for hemodynamic procedures per nursing prescriptions, and administer medications when medically indicated and requested; instruct patients regarding the upcoming procedure; escort patients to the examination room for procedure execution; assist the medical team during procedures as circulating staff in the examination room; transfer patients from the examination room to the recovery room after procedures; monitor patients and observe vital signs in the SRPA; immediately notify nurses/physicians of any patient complications; document nursing notes in the Gesthos system pre- and post-procedure; print documentation and attach it to the medical record for billing purposes; provide post-procedure rest and medication instructions to patients; perform daily equipment checklists for both the examination and recovery rooms and record them on the designated form; set up procedure tables according to the scheduled procedure requirements; drape patients with surgical drapes after site antisepsis, applying all aseptic techniques; dismantle the surgical table after procedures; maintain cleanliness and organization of the examination room before, during, and after procedures; dismantle the surgical table and immediately transport metallic instruments to decontamination, remove visible soil with water, and spray Primer prior to forwarding to the Central Sterile Supply Department (CME); clean gowns every Friday; provide assistance in other hospital departments if staffing shortages require temporary reassignment; attend department-specific and on-demand training sessions; transport patients from hemodynamics to inpatient units and/or ICU; comply with safety regulations, environmental control standards, and other internal policies or applicable legislation relevant to assigned duties; complete examination room logs, OPME material control sheets, nursing progress notes, and pharmacy material and medication sheets; assist nurses in manual compression and compressive dressing after removing femoral, radial, or brachial introducers; replenish CME materials for Hemodynamics and Endoscopy departments at specified times: Contaminated materials: 22:00–23:00 / Sterile materials: 05:00–06:00; deliver soiled materials from Hemodynamics and Endoscopy to CME at established times; clean and organize the Hemodynamics sector for the following day; clean, organize, and restock Cardiology and Ultrasound service rooms; remove Holter monitors from patients when necessary; verify all materials and their expiration dates; disinfect laryngoscopes after use; perform terminal cleaning over weekends per the task schedule; verify instrument cases (mat/med) used in the department; replenish department linens; request maintenance orders (O.S.) from Clinical Engineering upon equipment malfunction; perform other tasks similar to those described above at the manager’s discretion. 2511050202231849270
