Reporting to the **Project Manager**, the **PL Project Coordinator** role involves... **Key day-to-day responsibilities:** * Monitor and periodically control all events related to New Product Introduction (NPI) projects under your responsibility, covering limited-scope, low- to medium-complexity products and/or technologies; measure progress and evolution, identify deviations between planned and actual performance, and plan necessary corrective actions. * Critically analyze projects under your responsibility with respect to scope, agreed timelines, and other information focused on meeting customer requirements. * Identify and evaluate opportunities to improve project profitability, monitor and assess defined stages, and negotiate necessary actions to achieve objectives. * Establish the project schedule, procurement list, technical requirements, and manage the project from initiation (Kick Off) through transfer to mass production. * Create and maintain documentation, procedures, and deliverables for ongoing projects. * Review and communicate customer requirements, specifications, project schedules, and budget definitions across multidisciplinary teams. * Analyze root causes of issues raised, provide technical support and guidance to stakeholders for resolution, and, if required, present and request financial approval from the customer—considering scope and/or quality changes not originally included in the project. * Lead meetings and deliver specific presentations on current projects. * Support ongoing program management by providing project-related information. * Identify new technologies, methods, and project management tools—and/or NPI tools—to help drive continuous improvement in current processes. * Prepare status and progress reports for projects, monitor costs, prepare financial reports and updates on activities to ensure compliance with customer requirements. * Manage the work team—including selection, guidance, training, performance monitoring, performance evaluation, dissemination and enforcement of company procedures/standards, work processes, and implemented management systems—as well as handle other personnel management matters. **The experience we seek to add to our team:** * Bachelor’s degree or higher. * Advanced English proficiency. * Microsoft Office suite. * MS Project. **Desirable:** * Knowledge of New Product Introduction (NPI), project management methodologies (PMBOK and/or agile), conflict management techniques, manufacturing processes, and people leadership and management. * SHIELD project management system. * Experience managing automotive projects (APQP/PPAP). * Proficiency in presentation and communication techniques. **Job Category** ---------------- Production Engineering Required Skills: Optional Skills: Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
