**A Day in the Life of a Logistics Operator:**
* GOODS RECEIPT:
+ Performs quantitative and qualitative receipt of both commercial and non-commercial goods (e.g., equipment, office supplies), verifying and identifying overall condition, supplier, length, reference, shade, expiration date, etc.
+ Prepares physical space and necessary equipment for proper receipt, avoiding loss of productivity during inspection.
+ Records all relevant details regarding received goods (quantities, apparent condition, expiration dates, etc.) on the inspection report, ensuring quality and preventing losses.
+ Stores goods at the correct warehouse location by reading the receipt slip to expedite future order picking or delivery preparation.
+ Labels products missing or defective barcodes and applies security labels to theft-prone items, ensuring goods delivered to retail are available for sale.
+ Sorts goods according to flow typology—store goods versus warehouse goods.
+ Releases goods for storage in Store or Warehouse by contacting the Replenishment or Storage team to perform storage (receiving note).
+ Conducts anti-shrinkage actions through rigorous qualitative and quantitative checks on received goods, optimizing vehicle flow in the Goods Receipt yard and ensuring proper use of material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, cages).
+ Maintains organization of equipment, tools, and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
+ Safely stacks pallets to prevent damage to property and people.
+ Keeps the receipt area clean and organized to help combat shrinkage and prevent workplace accidents.
+ Receives shrinkage-validated goods from Retail, performs qualitative and quantitative inspection, and places shrinkage-labeled goods in the designated disposal area.
+ Receives supplier returns validated by Retail, performs qualitative and quantitative inspections, and schedules pickup.
+ Receives shipments for Technical Support, performs qualitative and quantitative inspection, and schedules pickup.
* PICKUP AND HOME DELIVERY:
+ Separates RSS (Reserve Stock), identifies products, and notifies the Commercial Department of the separation.
+ Assigns physical locations for goods, maintaining physical space reservation and rotating inventory based on the RSS product list.
+ Delivers goods to customers promptly and courteously, placing them into the customer’s vehicle.
+ Picks and inspects goods, verifying all items listed on the issued order, and makes them available for customer pickup at the Goods Pickup Area or for carrier dispatch (home delivery).
* REPLENISHMENT:
+ Restocks products in-store appropriately.
* INVENTORY MANAGEMENT:
+ Stores and ensures inventory quality and reliability.
+ Reviews daily orders generated by the Commercial Department, analyzes data consistency required in orders (addresses, phone numbers, delivery dates, references, availability, etc.), organizes orders chronologically, and releases them for billing.
+ Provides telephone customer support regarding delivery timelines.
+ Informs the Logistics Supervisor of any issues involving the picking team, operations, or products.
+ Assists the Logistics Supervisor in smooth warehouse location management (setup, rotating inventories, etc.).
+ Processes canceled RSS orders daily.
+ Registers shrinkage incidents identified during goods picking.
+ Maintains strong relationships and serves as the liaison with third-party carriers.
+ Collaborates with the Customer Service team to proactively address potential product-related issues.
+ Reports product-related incidents to the Logistics Supervisor and/or Logistics Manager.
+ Serves as the point of reference for the Goods Pickup Counter.
+ Is responsible for their work equipment.
+ Adheres to safety regulations.
