Junior Geotechnical Engineer

Here, we respect and value diversity. **Your main responsibilities will include:** * Developing technical designs based on guidelines provided by Technical Consultants and Clients; * Designing geotechnical structures for mining applications; * Preparing technical specifications for geotechnical testing, performing data treatment and interpretation, conducting geotechnical modeling using specialized software, drafting technical reports, and participating in technical discussions with clients; * Defining deliverables and delivery deadlines for projects together with Project Managers and Technical Consultants; * Preparing calculation memoranda, meeting minutes, quantity spreadsheets, pending items lists, technical specifications, drawings, and other engineering documents; * Participating in client meetings to identify and resolve technical discrepancies, negotiating necessary adjustments, and clarifying conceptual aspects; * Conducting technical site visits and field campaigns; * Ensuring compliance with Quality Management System standards and procedures, as well as critically reviewing them when appropriate. **We expect you to have:** * Experience in geotechnical projects or activities related to geotechnics; * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office; * Basic knowledge of specialized numerical modeling software: Rocscience Suite, GeoStudio Suite, or PLAXIS; * Basic knowledge of technical drawing visualization software: AutoCAD, TrueView, etc. **The following will be considered advantageous:** * Postgraduate degree in Geotechnics; * Intermediate English proficiency; * Basic programming language skills (Python, C\#, C\+\+ or R); * Driver’s license (Class B) and availability for travel. **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Mining Engineering or related fields **Benefits:** Health insurance plan with no monthly fee and co-payment; Dental insurance; Meal allowance or food voucher; Life insurance; Pharmacy network agreements; Extended maternity and paternity leave; Zenklub; Support for physical activity practice; Childcare assistance; In-house English courses; Home-office allowance (for hybrid and remote positions); 40-hour workweek; Partnerships with businesses across multiple sectors.
