Description
**Position Summary**
Responsible for coordinating Control Tower activities for domestic and international transportation operations of pharmaceutical and biological cargo, ensuring end-to-end visibility, SLA compliance, adherence to GDP/ANVISA/IATA regulations, mitigation of operational risks, and execution of contingency plans for critical (time-sensitive) shipments.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Coordinate end-to-end operational flow for biological and pharmaceutical shipments (pickup, cross-docking, temporary storage, airport delivery, loading, and final delivery).
* Serve as the focal point of the **Control Tower**, ensuring continuous communication among internal teams, carriers, warehouses, airlines, brokers, and customers.
* Monitor and ensure compliance with **SLAs and KPIs** (On-Time Delivery, On-Time Pickup, document clearance time, cargo departure time, non-conformities, and complaints).
* Ensure active management of critical shipments, including real-time monitoring and rapid decision-making in case of deviations.
* Coordinate and execute contingency plans (driver backup, alternative routes, airline substitution, flight changes, document revalidation).
* Ensure compliance with internal procedures and applicable regulations (GDP, IATA DGR, ANVISA, MAPA, COMEX, cold chain standards).
* Validate operational and export/import documentation when applicable (MAWB, HAWB, DUE, Invoice, Packing List, LPCO, labels, temperature records).
* Conduct root cause analyses and support deviation investigations (SCAR, CAPA), ensuring implementation and follow-up of corrective and preventive actions.
* Lead operational alignment meetings with stakeholders and customers, reporting status and risks.
* Coordinate operational training and periodic refresher sessions for team members and critical partners.
* Support internal and external audits related to operations and quality.
