Freight Route Planner

Description

We are looking for a **Freight Route Planner / Logistics Analyst** to join our team. The professional will be responsible for the strategic planning of routes and the organization of fleet loading and unloading, ensuring efficiency, cost reduction, and strict adherence to delivery deadlines. Key Responsibilities * **Route Planning:** Develop and optimize pickup and delivery routes, grouping orders by region and defining the optimal stop sequence. * **Cargo Management:** Assign cargo loads according to each vehicle’s volumetric capacity and weight limits. * **Operational Interface:** Guide the loading and unloading teams on the correct stowage sequence inside trucks to facilitate deliveries (intelligent route planning). * **Monitoring:** Track trip progress, anticipate risks, and resolve logistical issues in real time. * **Cost Control:** Analyze KPIs to reduce travel distance, fuel consumption, and overtime hours. * **Administrative Tasks:** Assist in trip closure, generate waybills, and track electronic transport documents (CT-e) and invoices (NFs). Requirements and Qualifications * **Experience:** Prior experience in route planning, route scheduling, or logistics analysis, specifically within transportation companies. * **Education:** Completed high school. Undergraduate studies or degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields is a plus. * **Technical Skills:** Intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel), and experience with route planning systems or TMS. * **Geography:** Solid geographical knowledge of the transportation company’s operational region. * **Behavioral Competencies:** Logical reasoning, spatial reasoning, quick decision-making, strong communication skills, and ability to work under pressure.
