Job Opening – Elementary School Instructor AFESU is one of Brazil's earliest NGOs dedicated to promoting women's inclusion in the labor market. We are seeking Portuguese and Mathematics Instructors (Elementary Education I and II) to prepare and deliver academic reinforcement courses at one of our units. Responsibilities: \- Identify the child/adolescent's educational needs; \- Use pedagogical materials for academic reinforcement through workshops and playful activities for children aged 8 to 15; \- Conduct classes that foster learning experiences contributing to better understanding of subject matter; \- Fully participate in planning periods for projects; \- Participate in the conception and implementation of projects aligned with the Unit's management; \- Attend pedagogical meetings with the Unit's coordination and management; \- Analyze the child/adolescent's learning progress, consistently identifying needs and defining actions to improve performance and development; \- Ensure safety during all activities by observing, guiding, and intervening when necessary; \- Closely monitor attitudes and behaviors indicating abnormality in the child/adolescent; \- Document and report observed behaviors in children/adolescents to the coordinator, ensuring parents remain informed; \- Perform tasks related to those described above, as well as any others assigned by the immediate supervisor. Requirements: \- Proven experience as an Elementary School Instructor (I and II) or in a similar role; \- Experience developing educational materials; \- Ability to work on project-based initiatives. Education: \- Completed or ongoing undergraduate degree; \- Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Salary range: To be negotiated. Working hours: 40 hours per week.
