Maintenance Coordinator

Description

**Our client:** An automotive-sector company with strong industrial presence, focused on operational efficiency, continuous improvement, and innovation in production processes. We are seeking a Maintenance Coordinator with extensive experience in industrial maintenance and technical leadership, responsible for ensuring high equipment availability, operational reliability, and support for industrial processes. The role will involve strategic collaboration with Engineering and Production departments, and the incumbent will be responsible for coordinating maintenance routines, continuous improvement initiatives, failure analysis, maintenance KPI management, and technical team development. The candidate must have proven experience in vacuum metallization processes, which is a critical requirement and decisive factor for this position, as well as a hands-on, analytical profile and strong decision-making ability. **Requirements and Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related fields; * Solid experience leading industrial maintenance teams; * Proven experience in vacuum metallization processes (mandatory); * Experience in the automotive sector; * Knowledge of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance; * Experience in failure analysis and maintenance KPIs; * Knowledge of MTBF, MTTR, and downtime analysis; * Mandatory knowledge of NR-10 and NR-12 regulations; * Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement; * Knowledge of FMEA, 6S, TPM, and continuous improvement tools; * Experience in industrial layout optimization and process improvement; * Technical leadership and team development capability; * Hands-on profile and strong analytical ability; * Organized, ownership mindset, and results-oriented; * Strong communication skills with both operational and strategic teams; * Familiarity with digital technologies and AI applied to industry is a plus; * Leadership, public speaking, and 6S training courses are advantageous. **Responsibilities:** * Coordinate preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance services; * Ensure industrial equipment availability and reliability; * Participate in the design, adaptation, and improvement of machines and equipment; * Lead factory layout optimization projects; * Analyze maintenance KPIs and develop action plans; * Create, analyze, and drive downtime Pareto charts; * Manage maintenance budget, quotations, and technical procurement; * Ensure compliance with NR-10 and NR-12 regulations; * Lead and develop the maintenance team; * Collaborate closely with Engineering and Production departments; * Implement and sustain Lean methodologies and continuous improvement; * Provide technical support to industrial processes and innovation projects; * Contribute to increased productivity and operational efficiency.
