Job Summary: A procurement professional responsible for purchasing, quotations, negotiations, and contracting of materials and services in civil construction, supporting construction projects to ensure alignment among schedule, cost, quality, and production requirements. Direct interface with multiple departments to ensure smooth project workflow LAN Construtora is seeking a professional to join the Head Office Procurement Department in Belo Horizonte/MG, focusing on purchasing, quotations, negotiations, and contracting of materials and services for civil construction. The professional will be responsible for supporting construction sites with appropriate supply of materials, equipment, tools, and services, ensuring alignment among schedule, cost, quality, technical specifications, and actual production needs. **Main Responsibilities** * Conduct quotations, negotiations, and purchases of materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and services for civil construction projects. * Respond to site demands by understanding priorities, urgencies, technical specifications, and required deadlines for execution. * Evaluate commercial and technical proposals, comparing price, delivery time, payment terms, quality, warranty, and compliance with requested scope. * Negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal commercial conditions without compromising quality or project timelines. * Support outsourcing of services, equipment rentals, freight, applied materials, and other recurring civil construction demands. * Perform follow\-up on orders, deliveries, and pending items, ensuring predictability for site teams and reducing risks of work stoppages. * Maintain supplier relationships, prospect new partners, and support qualification and performance evaluation of the supplier base. * Organize purchase requests, purchase orders, service orders, simple contracts, invoices, and other documents related to the procurement process. * Interface directly with engineering, construction, finance, warehouse, administration, and executive management. * Contribute to cost control per project, cost center, and initiative, supporting margin improvement and waste reduction. **Requirements** * Prior experience in procurement, purchasing, or service contracting within the civil construction sector. * Practical knowledge of construction materials, services, and site routines. * Ability to read and understand technical requests, service scopes, specifications, quantity take-offs, and basic technical specifications. * Strong negotiation skills with suppliers and service providers. * Organizational ability to manage deadlines, orders, deliveries, documentation, and simultaneous priorities. * Proficiency in Excel and ERP/management systems. * Effective communication skills for interaction with construction sites, suppliers, and internal departments. * Willingness to work onsite at the Head Office in Belo Horizonte/MG. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with construction companies, engineering firms, installation contractors, industrial maintenance, or corporate/industrial projects. * Experience purchasing concrete, steel, electrical and hydraulic materials, finishes, equipment rentals, PPE, tools, and specialized services. * Familiarity with Omie or other financial and procurement ERP systems. * Basic understanding of contracts, service orders, service measurement, and project-level cost tracking. * Ability to build long-term relationships with strategic suppliers.
