Job Summary: Responsible for signaling and guiding equipment operators, securing loads, inspecting lifting accessories, and preparing the operation area in compliance with safety regulations. Work area preparation and safety communication **Main Responsibilities and Duties:** * **Signaling and Orientation:** Guide equipment operators (cranes, hoists) using standardized hand signals or radio communication to control load trajectory, weight, and lifting conditions. * **Load Securing:** Assist with and/or perform proper load securing using compatible lifting accessories such as steel cables, slings, shackles, and locks to prevent shifting or accidents during transport. * **Equipment Inspection:** Conduct visual inspections and ensure proper storage of lifting accessories (cables, slings, etc.), verifying their quality and condition before and after each use. * **Area Preparation:** Inspect and prepare the ground-level operation area and unloading location; request area isolation and verify lighting if necessary to ensure safety for all involved personnel. * **Communication and Reporting:** Communicate effectively with the team and immediately report any deviations, interferences, or unsafe conditions observed during operations to the rigging supervisor or rigger. * **Regulatory Compliance:** Strictly adhere to safety, hygiene, and environmental protection regulations, including NR-18 and NR-11 guidelines.
