About the Role Alcoa is seeking a Production Operator A to join our Electrodes team at the Alumar Reduction Plant in São Luís, Maranhão. The main responsibilities of the role include:* Organizing and cleaning the work area; * Operating baking furnaces and anode handling systems; * Checking and collecting anode samples; * Operating ECL bridge cranes, *Starck Crane;* * Sealing tops and refractory blocks and inspecting anodes; * Unloading powder silos from ECL bridges; What you can offer for the role* Education: High school diploma; * Preferred: Participation in any Alumar Operator Training Program, such as Jovem Aprendiz (Young Apprentice); * Preferred: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; * Requirement: Availability to work 6x3 shift schedule\.
