The Hydraulic Excavator Operator is responsible for operating heavy excavation equipment on civil construction, mining, earthworks, sanitation, and infrastructure projects. Their primary function is to excavate, move soil, rocks, and other materials safely and precisely, in accordance with technical instructions and safety regulations. * Operate hydraulic excavators for excavation, demolition, material handling, and loading; * + Perform earthwork services, trenching, drainage, ditch excavation, and soil leveling; + Conduct daily equipment condition checks before commencing operations (checklist); + Maintain and perform basic machine maintenance, reporting any abnormalities; + Comply with safety, environmental, and occupational health regulations; + Work in accordance with project specifications and instructions from the site supervisor/foreman; + Assist in organizing the construction site and marking the operational area.
