Perform quality analyses according to company-established procedures and practices; There is potential for shift substitution for time banks, lunch breaks, and vacations; Responsible for housekeeping in the milling area (cleaning of the workplace, equipment, and machinery); Comply with all safety regulations and report any deviations or unsafe conditions; Actively participate in performance review meetings; **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** -------------------------------- * Operate the extraction area (extractor, DTs, solids line, distillery, condensation, cooling towers). Responsible for starting equipment, activating commands and controls, adjusting equipment and machinery due to production and/or quality changes, and monitoring results. Must adjust process parameters (pressure, temperature, density, flow rate, etc.) as needed or per procedure, aiming for quality, efficiency, and safety. * Guide and train Extraction Operator II, seeking information about the process, activities, incidents, and changes. Responsible for ensuring communication with the CHT and supervision in case of deviations or resource needs. Includes quality analysis routines and adjustments. * Upon identifying any abnormality in the area—whether related to equipment or product leakage—seek resolution in partnership with Extraction Operator II \- Extraction. If necessary, involve the shift leader. * Operational rounds: identify and report shift incidents and operational abnormalities that may pose risks, escalating cases to the immediate supervisor to seek solutions and prevent risk. * Area housekeeping (cleaning of the workplace, equipment, and machinery, ensuring a clean and safe workplace). Must use water, compressed air, soap, etc.; * Conduct shift handover, documenting incidents occurring during the shift—including mechanical and electrical issues, unplanned stoppages, daily and hourly production—ensuring operational continuity. Guarantee accurate and faithful transmission of information to the next shift; * Process efficiency control: Evaluate temperatures, pressures, flow rates, levels, etc., to improve process efficiency (hexane consumption, steam consumption, energy efficiency / energy recovery), minimizing abrupt process fluctuations. * Open, clean, and close equipment during scheduled or emergency shutdowns, per instructions from the shift supervisor or supervisor. * Collect samples at each process stage and send\-them to the laboratory. In case of critical parameters (e.g., flash point), report directly to the shift supervisor and supervisor and take immediate corrective actions. * Record information in the logbook (quality, process, cleaning, glass breakage, traceability, etc). * Support equipment maintenance by performing preparations before (lockout, drainage, cleaning) and after (closure/pre\-operation verification) maintenance activities. * Hexane discharge * **QUALIFICATIONS** ----------------- Completed high school; Relevant experience in the role and knowledge of milling preparation; Basic computer skills. **DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS** Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, industrial engineering, production engineering, or related fields.
