And we will be very happy if you come to be part of our story. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Key Responsibilities:** * **Collection Development:** Curate and maintain a diverse, relevant, and inclusive collection of resources that support our teachers in delivering the IB curriculum. * **Instruction and Collaboration:** Carry out storytelling sessions, teach research skills, critical thinking, and academic integrity to students, and collaborate with teachers to integrate information literacy into the curriculum according to grade level needs. * **Library Management:** Oversee daily library operations, including cataloging, circulation, and maintenance of library resources. * **Technology Integration:** Leverage digital tools and platforms used by the school to enhance student learning and access to resources. * **Community Engagement:** Foster partnerships with parents, teachers, and the wider community to promote literacy and learning, such as in school wide events (Book Fair). * **Professional Development:** Participate in all academic meetings for ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in librarianship at Red House School **Requirements and Qualifications** **Education** * Degree in Library Science. **Experience** * At least 3 years of professional experience. **Languages** * English proficiency. **Technical Knowledge** * Experience working in an IB school or with the IB curriculum is desirable. * Strong knowledge of library management systems and digital resources. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with IB programmes (PYP, MYP, DP). * Knowledge of curriculum design and assessment. * Experience with technology integration in education. * Fluency in English. **Who We're Looking For** * A caring and collaborative profile. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * A digital mindset with openness to innovation. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. * Creativity and enthusiasm for books and culture. **Additional Information** **Location/Campus:** Villa\-Lobos. **Working Hours:** 7:30 AM to 5:15 PM.
