Colégio Catarinense, part of the Jesuit Education Network, is seeking a new professional for the position of **Library Assistant**, to be based at its center in Florianópolis/SC. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Enter bibliographic collection data into an automated system. * Control user access and provide user service. * Manage loans and returns of materials, books, periodicals, and locker keys. * Conduct statistical tracking of user attendance and usage of periodicals and books consulted in the library. * Implement planned activities for developing displays and materials for reading and research projects. * Provide support in technical processing. * Assist users in searching for and retrieving bibliographic materials. * Follow up on overdue books. * Perform low-complexity tasks for the conservation of bibliographic materials. * Store used books and organize them according to classification. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Education: Completed high school or undergraduate degree in Library Science (completed or in progress). * Preferred: Prior experience in activities related to this role. **Work Schedule**: 40 hours per week
