Job Summary:
A professional responsible for operating and adjusting packaging equipment, ensuring product quality, performing cleaning and maintenance, and ensuring compliance with regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Key Highlights:

2. Perform cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of equipment.

Release packaging lines according to procedures defined by the Quality Department.
Adjust recipe and operational parameters of equipment to ensure final product quality.
Perform cleaning and sanitation of equipment using specific cleaning agents, following internal procedures and completing process documentation to ensure compliance with internal standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Maintain the work area clean and organized.
Ensure proper use of PPE, avoid unsafe acts, and identify and report unsafe operating conditions that may lead to accidents.
Correctly complete area forms and records to ensure traceability and compliance with legal authorities and applicable legislation.
Identify and report any deviations in equipment operation and root causes of recurring issues, supporting management in implementing action plans with improvement initiatives to reduce costs and losses in the packaging process.
Identify process improvement opportunities such as optimization of process times, cost reduction, and waste minimization.
Perform equipment checklists to verify operational readiness for the process.
Perform adjustments and repairs to prevent machine performance failures and support the maintenance team in executing corrective and preventive maintenance.
Monitor usage of work equipment, verifying correct operation to maintain safety of personnel in the work area and prevent accidents.
Participate in validation tests and new product development through pilot batch production; monitor corrective and preventive maintenance on area equipment; conduct tests of new materials and raw materials; record all tests performed to ensure data history and reliability.
Inspect products during production to verify conformity with established quality standards.
Perform product and size setups according to the production schedule prepared by PCP, supporting the handling assistant with cleaning of packaging line piping, pump connections, and hoses for product transfer.
Execute operational procedures and standards as described and established.
Accurately complete the productivity report, recording the quantity produced per batch and all stoppages and process times for performance and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) calculation.
Academic Qualification: Completed High School.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience operating industrial machinery.
Desirable Courses: Maintenance training.
Specific Knowledge: Experience operating and adjusting sleeve label applicators.
