Perform medium-complexity activities in the area of control and monitoring of machines, equipment, and instruments through the company's Integrated Operations Center (IOC) computer system, preparing daily reports focused on increasing productivity and resolving equipment issues.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
Operate the computer system that monitors the operation of field machinery, equipment, and instruments, verifying equipment functionality to ensure productivity, quality, and safety.
Execute production process control within your assigned area.
Assist in production process control by dosing chemical inputs, operating equipment, pumps, and other process units.
Adjust equipment to the production process, overseeing maintenance activities for machinery and equipment.
Operate the industry’s control system via computers.
Operate equipment such as pumps, fermenters, heat exchangers, redlers, and other equipment comprising the department.
Assist in analyzing and preparing daily occurrence reports, equipment downtime logs, production reports, and quality reports, aiming to identify deviations from production process standards and implement corresponding corrective actions.
Interpret production orders, change programs, and adjust machine and process parameters.
Communicate information to other team members—both those on the same shift and others—verbally and in writing.
Ensure completion of all stipulated production activities.
Cover for Senior COI Operators when necessary.
Identify causes of equipment malfunction and promptly arrange required repairs.
Assess the condition of production process machinery, equipment, parts, and tools, flagging issues to maintain planned productivity.
Contribute ideas for new operational methodologies and procedures to enhance production process effectiveness and improvement.
Measure chemical dosages and collect samples when necessary.
Read parameters and enter data into established checklists, reports, and forms.
Monitor process quality, sanitation, and parameters, as well as perform physicochemical analyses.
Clean and maintain used parts, tools, and equipment, ensuring their proper use.
Perform equipment repairs during scheduled shutdowns designated for this purpose.
Assist in corrective maintenance of industrial machinery, motors, and equipment, supporting mechanics in assembly and disassembly tasks for general machinery and motors.
Carry out cleaning and organization of work areas.
Perform tasks of equivalent complexity level when requested by the immediate supervisor.
Carry out job responsibilities while strictly adhering to all organizational occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations and procedures, and consistently using all mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE) required for performing job and departmental duties. You are responsible for reporting any activity posing a risk to your health or that of fellow workers to your immediate supervisor.
Perform duties in alignment with the company’s values, policies, guidelines, procedures, and processes, always focusing on organizational goals and maintaining confidentiality and protection of company information.
Maintain discipline under the 5S program, aiming for safe work through workplace organization, standardization, and cleanliness.
Safeguard company property under your responsibility, reporting any detected problems or damages to your immediate supervisor.
