




**Description and Responsibilities:** **Schedule:** Monday to Saturday **Level:** Operational **Employment type:** Tenured \- CLT labor code Reception and support of patients: Receive patients arriving at the laboratory department, providing courteous service, clarifying initial questions, and guiding them on procedures to be performed. * Hospital system registration: Register patients' personal information, including identification data, health plan (insurance) details, and requested exam types, ensuring all data is updated and accurate in the system. * Insurance authorization: Request exam authorizations from health plans, following hospital-established procedures, and monitor authorization status to ensure exams are performed without delays. * Telephone support: Answer patient phone calls, providing information about exam procedures, preparation instructions, required documentation, and available time slots. * Exam result verification: Check and inform patients about the status of their exam results, providing guidance on how and when results will be available according to hospital policies. * Direction to collection area: Guide patients regarding the location and procedure for sample collection, directing them clearly and efficiently to the collection unit. * Document organization: Organize and maintain exam-related documents, such as forms and insurance authorizations, in an orderly and accessible manner to facilitate access by technical and administrative teams. **Requirements:** High school diploma.
